Leon joins the team as the incoming Leader Development Director.Ā He holds a BS in meteorology from Cornell University, an MS in Environmental Pollution Control from Pennsylvania State University, a masters of Military Art and Science form the Air Command and Staff College, and a Ph.D. in the History of U.S. Foreign Relations from Kent State University.Ā Ā
Recently retired after 30 years of service in the Air Force in the US south, Germany, England, Kosovo, and Israel, Leon provided meteorological and environmental services to various military organizations during his first ten years.Ā Over the next 14 years of his military career, he held various faculty and senior administrative positions at Air University, including as Vice President of Air Command and Staff College.Ā He happily spent his final six years in uniform teaching strategy and security studies at the U.S. Army War College, and running the College’s illustrious public speaking outreach program that engaged a score of colleges and thousands of people each year.Ā Leon is also an adjunct professor of Public Policy at Gettysburg University.Ā Ā
Leon resides (and sings in a church choir) in Carlisle with his wife and two teenage sons.Ā Ā
