The 369th Sustainment Brigade “Harlem Hellfighters” currently has approximately 1000 Soldiers mobilized in New York to support COVID-19 response. My Soldiers were recently featured on the Secretary of Defense’s FB page for their work in setting up patient care units for the hospital that was established at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Additionally, my Soldiers are conducting warehouse operations at nine different sites throughout the state and distributing PPE, medical supplies and equipment throughout the state. The staff of my military police battalion is providing the nucleus for the Unified Command- Javits staff. Finally, we are augmenting the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner by assisting with the recovery of decedents (all causes) throughout the City of New York and assisting with the processing and storing of remains. I am supported by two current USAWC students in the first year class- LTC Ian Seagriff, commander of the 101st Expeditionary Signal Battalion and LTC Bryon Linnehan, Brigade Support Operations Officer.
