Army War College Foundation Scholarship Program application submission deadline: Monday, March 2, 2020, Midnight EST
The Army War College Foundation Scholarship program is open to any student who is:
1) either a high school senior headed to college in the fall of 2020, or a college student in the first three years of undergraduate study
and who is also
2) either a child of a Lifetime member of the Army War College Foundation, or a child of a Distance Education graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
Award winners from previous years are not eligible to compete.
There are three scholarships that were funded by the Distance Education 2017, 2018, and 2019 classes. These 3 scholarships will be awarded to children of Distance Education graduates (from all USAWC class years) regardless of the parent’s Foundation membership. All other Foundation scholarships will be awarded to children of Foundation Lifetime members including children of Distance Education students & graduates who are Foundation Lifetime members.
The application form and process are the same for all scholarships; each applicant will automatically be considered for all for which he/she is eligible. The final number and amounts of the Foundation scholarships awarded will be determined after all applications are received and evaluated. Scholarship awards will range from $500 – $1500.
Please read the descriptions under each question/section of the application carefully and follow the directions listed. There are plus signs (“+”) at the end of the content boxes in Part 2 to add additional lines as needed. Note that the School Activities, Service & Community Activities, Work, and Honors sections should only include content back to August 2016. The Education section is not date limited.

Foundation staff are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm to answer questions or to assist with application submission problems. No deadline extensions will be granted to applicants who have problems submitting applications after 4:00 pm, EST, on March 2, 2020. Mailed or emailed applications will not be accepted.
Winners and non-winners will be notified by USPS mail no later than April 30, 2020.
