I am currently the Commander of SHAPE and Brussels Healthcare Facility in Belgium. My medical team has been at the forefront in providing the care, coordination, and prevention strategies to stop the spread of COVID-19 by partnering with our U.S. Forces, NATO Allies, and Belgium Host Nation. On April 15th, I hosted Allied Command Operations Medical Advisor, BG Fazekas, during a tour of SHAPE Healthcare Facility’s COVID-19 clinic, call center, and laboratory. The visit highlighted the medical efforts and contributions the SHAPE Healthcare Facility team is doing in support of COVID-19 operations.
