COL Heidi Jones was recently mobilized as the Command Historian for Army North/5th Army in support of the Army’s response to COVID-19 mitigation. She is serving as the lead uniformed historical collector for the U.S. Army Center of Military History at the JFLCC. She will compile an annotated chronology, conduct oral history interviews, and maintain a document archive of JFLCC COVID-19 operations for submission to the Army Historical Record.
