Corporate and foundation support makes possible a wide range of activities that greatly enrich the student experience beyond what can be achieved through appropriated funding alone.  We want to build comprehensive relationships with organizations who shared interests in leader development will cause them to support the U.S. Army War College education of our nation’s next generation of strategic leaders.

The Army War College Foundation seeks to engage with corporations and foundations through:

• Identification of programs and initiatives that meet the intent of corporate or foundation charitable goals;
• Hosting of corporate and foundation representatives at Carlisle Barracks to directly engage with students, staff, and faculty;
• Serving as a connection between the U.S. Army War College and the Army War College Foundation; and
• Appropriate recognition and meaningful stewardship that celebrate each organization’s support and impact.

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please contact your employer’s human resources department.

Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio. Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Matching gift programs will almost always specify a minimum and maximum amount for qualifying donations. Be sure to check your guidelines specifically and take note of the deadline for requesting matching gifts.

After you confirm your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your company and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. This is a great way to increase the impact of your gift to the Army War College Foundation!
