I am serving on a COVID-19 response team with the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Office of Safety, Security and Emergency Management. The Virginia Department of Transportation established a small team of Emergency Management, Planning, Security, and Safety professionals to help the Agency respond to and prepare for supply chain and personnel shortages. The team is led by John Scrivani, CEM, VDOT’s Director of the Office of Safety, Security and Emergency Management. John’s Emergency Planner, and section chief for the team, Matthew Lott, runs and coordinates the team’s daily activities. There are many great members of the response team.
