Joni joined the Foundation in May 2025. As a military spouse for over 20 years, Joni brings a lot of life experience to the the team. She was previously employed at The Thayer Hotel at West Point and assisted at schools in Fort Leavenworth and Germany.

As a military spouse, Dawn was extremely familiar with Carlisle Barracks and the students and families who pass through each academic year. Her volunteer experiences supporting the Carlisle Barracks Spouses Club and U.S. Army Family Readiness Group kept her busy the past several years. Her position at the Foundation began in May 2022. Dawn holds a B.S. in Mathematics Education and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology and is a welcomed addition to our Gift Shop where students love to ask questions. share news, and lament about coursework!
