I am currently serving as Chief of Operations at the National Joint Intelligence & Operations Center, National Military Command Center, in the Pentagon. Our team works daily with the COVID-19 Crisis Management Team updating the Director of the Joint Staff and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs (CJCS) on all DoD COVID activities. Part of what I do is tracking all the DoD operations in support of COVID-19 across the Joint Force in coordination with the DoD COVID-19 Crisis Management Team (CMT). I’m the link for the CMT between the Combatant Commands for Requests for Information (RFI), taskers, and other coordinating items. In addition to COVID-19, my team still maintains visibility on global operations, movement of forces, and provides situational awareness to the CJCS and the Secretary of Defense.
