I retired from active duty in June of 2012 and started a new career as a DA Civilian (DAC) in December of 2012. I currently work as the Training and Operations Officer at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (McAlester, OK), which falls under the Joint Munitions Command (JMC) (Rock Island, IL), which falls under the Army Materiel Command (AMC) (Huntsville, AL). In my capacity as the Training and Operations officer, I helped develop and implement techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP) to mitigate COVID-19 transmission risk for our DACs while they simultaneously continued to produce, repair, store, ship and receive critical ammunition and components.
