As the Director of Personnel and Manpower (DMPM) at the Pentagon, Virginia, the DMPM Team advises the Army’s senior leaders on how COVID-19 is impacting the Army’s officer and enlisted populations. This includes the impact to the Army’s end-strength if new recruits aren’t shipped to Basic Training; and impacts on officers who cannot attend professional training because of COVID-19 restrictions. The DMPM Team is also working through impacts of COVID-19 on Army selection and promotion boards and is advising senior Army leaders on important personnel policies, such as personnel mobilization policies. BG Stitt provides the most senior Army and Department of Defense leaders with real-time, accurate, personnel data from the larger unit levels, all the way down to a Soldier name-tag level.
