The Army War College Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Service code section 501(c)(3). The Army War College Foundation records all gifts into proper accounts and provides gift receipts to donors. Your acknowledgement letter serves as your official tax receipt.
All gifts postmarked by December 31 will be receipted for that year's tax credit.
Financial information will be provided in response to reasonable and specific requests. In every case, however, it is the policy that the names of donors and prospective donors as well as any personal or financial information be held in the strictest confidence.
You may leave all or a portion of your gift unrestricted to provide the greatest flexibility to meet the college's most pressing needs as they arise. You may also choose to designate your gift for any program at the Army War College. Your gift designation should be noted on your check or in a letter accompanying the gift.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts: Gifts may be made in memory or in honor of alumnus, family member, professor, friend or student. When a memorial or honorary gift is received, the Army war College Foundation notifies the next of kin or the honoree and the gift is administered as the donor specifies. Please provide the AWCF with the name and address of those you wish to be notified.
